Swimming into February...

Hope you all enjoyed our presentation evening last night - it was wonderful to see so many of you there. Congratulations to all our swimmers on their medals and awards.
February is a busy month for us! Next weekend Murry and Jacob are returning to the Gloucestershire County Championships at GL1 and we wish them the best of luck as they both swim in the 100 IM.
The weekend after, on Saturday 15 February, it's round 2 of the Cotswold League at Hutton Moor. Everyone chosen for this has now confirmed their availability, and I will confirm the arrival time ASAP.
On Sunday 23 February we have 2 girls relay teams heading to the Gloucestershire County Championships. Swimming at counties is a very exciting opportunity for the girls selected and we would like to wish them all the very best of luck. The 9/10 girls team is Lexi, Lila, Isla and Mia, and the 11/12 girls team is Summer, Millie, Ruby, Teleri and Juliette. The 2 teams will both be swimming in the 4x50m freestyle relay and the 4x50m medley relay.
With half term fast approaching, we need to look at how many swimmers are intending to attend training that week (Tuesday 18, Wednesday 19, Thursday 20 and Friday 21 February). Sessions may need to be altered if numbers are very low. Could you please email to say whether your swimmers are likely to be attending during half term.
